In the past our ancestors used animal oils to keep their skin moisturized and healthy. Muscadine Cottage is helping to bring that tradition back. Tallow naturally contains vitamins A, D, E, & K & Muscadine grape seed oil is extremely high in antioxidants. Tallow can be used to help treat a variety of skin conditions, including rosacea, stretch marks, eczema, surgical scars, raw nipples during lactation, acne, wrinkles, psoriasis, dermatitis etc.

Note: Please be advised this is natural tallow and oils, so we cannot guarantee it won’t melt at temperatures above 75 degrees. 

April – October our tallow will be shipped with a cold pack to try to prevent melting. Please check your mailbox promptly for your order, and do not leave tallow in a hot car. We are not responsible for melting and no refunds will be given due to melted tallow. Local pickup is recommended during hot months. If you live far away you should stock up during the cooler months as tallow has a long shelf life.
